Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own.

In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins.

There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free.

Divschatten's Dark Lady

Alice folded her arms over the chest when she listened to his words, she made mental note on all the objects he would be needing and then she nodded a little as he was all done. "will not be a problem to get those things" she assured him casually.

"I will also provide extra money in case you will have to get him something new, but that cash is to be used for that purpose only. So it is not a part of your payment" she paused and examined her son for a few seconds, then she nodded a little. "what colors would you see fit for his outfit then?" she asked, after all he was the one working with this, but she had a pretty good guess that it was darker colors, easier to use when hidding in shadows.

Illianis was no idiot, treated like one bothered him slightly, well that was in appearance. He was frustrated in fact. But nevertheless, there was a good payment in the end. What was the time of training for him? Already elves lived pretty long, half-undead elf lasted for four time more. The kid'S training was a second in the life of a mortal. He grinned a bit. was it not obvious? Dark colors were the best choices. Then a gain, looking at her fashion way to do things and free her son. He may expect a dark gold. That was not a good idea. He needed to explain.''Simple, black is the usually way it'S versatile and usually reliable. Darkblue is to blend with the nigth sky colors but onlu good if you plan aerial attack, Dark green for the woods. So on that thing, it all depends on his future assassin style.''

Alice nodded a little, then she smiled. "Then that is what I will get for him, your the one in the job. I trust you knowledge." she explained with a small gesture of her hand, then the woman made a little pause to think. "I will make sure to get all the things needed, but a good way to start is now. I will meet you in cascadia, two days should be more then enough to get there for you." she smirked a little and revealed her teeth in a rather amused smile.

"and you will take my son there with you, he should travel with you...after all your going to be his master from now on." the sorceress then turned around and began to walk away, Azrael looked at her and walked after. Alice came to a halt and looked to her sons confused eyes, she sighed a little and then she lowered herself down to his level. "listen to me sweetie, your going to go with this man to Cascadia and I will see you there. Be a good boy and listen to him carefully, he have many things to teach you. After all you did say you wanted to be just like dad right?" the boy nodded a little, he looked to the assassin for a few seconds and then he swallowed and walked back.

Alice followed him with the eyes and then she nodded a little and continued to walk away. The man still had a few more seconds if he wanted to say something, then she would be gone.

The man rose an eyebrow when she told that they ad to meet in Cascadia. Just great, he he had to be...Less subtle, less assassin style. Though looking at the kid he had the perfect idea. He let both mother and son have their sweet little moment for themselves. Then he nodded as she left, it was only both of them, an assassin and his apprentice.

''Now listen carefully, an assassin is to never tell his name. You tell it once to a client, and succeed in your mission then he shall spread it to those he deem trustworthy. Usually, you end up killling your first client as your second job. So i do not care what's your name, and you don't care about mine. You call me master, and that's it. Understood?''

He started to walk towards the exit of the ruined city, it has been a long night. Well morning would be coming and then he would sleep. He looked behind him quickly the kid could only run to match Illianis walk speed.''I i don't want to hear you complain yet, not until we find a spot to rest. So you stay quit, and you follow, or else doing what i'm sayin. Understood?''

This simple exercise would get him to be faster and have a nice endurance. Just to be sure, he took one of his leather gloves and help it in the other had, revealing his pale skin. If he complained, it would be the first slap and gods knows leather did hurt.

Azrael swallowed a little when he listened to the master's word, he had just been about to ask for the guys name. But changed his mind now and nodded a little to show that he listened and payed attention, mom said he had to listen and do what this guy told him to do. "Yes master" he commented, just to see how it sounded to say master. "Will you make me as good as my dad is? Mom tells me he was a really good assassin, I have never meet him so I don't know." he was a curious boy, so asking things was kind of a part of his nature.

The little boy began to follow Illianis out from the town, he had to run in order to keep up with the adult. A little now and then he paused to catch his breath, but this made it so that the master ended up even further away, something that forced the boy to run faster to catch up with him. He was very tried. "....but my feet hurts.." he said lowly, but most likely high enough for the man to catch it.

Such innocence, was so cute. And now was time to bring the truth to the kid. Throwing away the innocence, to get him in the perfect mind set. How was daddy eh? An evil grin passed on his face.''Kid, if your father was an assassin, there is twwo possible things that he never came to see you. One, emotionnally bounds are irrationnal. Feelings are a waste. You will have to learn to diminish it. Two, there is even a more easier to that, he was not good enough. He might be dead by now.''

Mental assault number one completed. He kept his pace nonetheless. Step two engaged. This mind set would be easy to apply in less then a month he will have it. After that, true training would start. ''So i will turn you in even a better assassin that he ever was, and that's only if you follow my orders.''

As the kid made his first complain, the katane turned around and glared at him. He slapped wit the back of his glove. He would learn the painful way. This was another training even though it did not looked like it. Doing false move, speaking to much may bring pain, you have to be ready for it and keep your focus. Later own, this brat would get pain and be used to it thanks to his training. ''I said silence! Assassin doesn't let their pain take control. If your father died doing his job, i'm pretty sure he did not complained even while he died. So make your father proud.''On that he gained the same pace he walked already. They would res at sunset, till then, he would not slowdown.

Azrael listened in silence to the words, he found them to be weird...a little cold at that. But he accepted them fairly easy, after all who was he to correct what an adult man said? even more one that worked with the same thing as his dad did. He did not reply anything until as the man talked about making him much better then the father, just if he listened to his orders. "Yes sir!" the boy told and seemed very sure that he wanted to be better then the father was, then maybe dad would be proud and he could meet him? Because the thought that the father could ever have gotten himself killed was not a part of his mind, he saw the father was the perfect person.

The little boy let out a small yelp when the glove slapped him right across the face, he moved one hand to the area where it hit and he had gotten a red mark there. The boy looked to Illianis and listened to the words, he was really having pain in the feet as he was small and not used to running and walking to much. He watched the master walk away for a few seconds, then he looked back towards where his mother had left. He swallowed a little and after that he hurried after the adult, trying to keep up with him.

A few times he was about to say something, but of course he happened to notice the glove in the masters hand and closed his mouth before any sounds could come. He swallowed and was forced to pause like before a little now and then. "I will make my dad proud" he commented when they had walked in silence for a while.

Illianis looked at the kid. Good way to start his mentality. Though the fact that he was looking like his father was still alive was bothering. If such assassin existed. He would either having all the bounties, or there was more to meet the eyes? It was easy to tell why he had not been heard of. Such is the way of the assassin. So this assassin was great, huh? If he ever had the chance he would dispatch him or torture him. To gain all of his knowledge. Perhaps... He looked at the kid. If his mother had interest in such a man, it was no worries that the mind set was fine. There was no way that they would tell him his secrets. Not a chance.

''Keep running...''

(-end of topic for me-)
