Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own.

In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins.

There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free.

Kreos looked at the huge wooden door. Thoughts careened throughout his mind; what was behind the door, could the girl be trusted, were there more of the undead anywhere near here? He shuddered slightly. He then looked at the words that had just been written on the wall. "What do you mean..." he thought out loud. Then he had a small spark of a thought. This girl, had appeared when the undead appeared, She had powers, webs came from her. She knew the tunnels like the back of her hand. There would be no reason for a door to be in a tunnel system unless there was something down here that needed to be protected or sealed off. He stared at the girl once more, Bo snarling. He turned tail and ran as fast as he could through the darkness.

Evals smiled and snuffed out the light from the latern. She didn't need it no longer, darkness fell upon the tunnels. How to react now, to vanish or wait? Utalize that the only way out of these tunnels were through exists that were guarded by either two or swarms of Undead, and inbetween those sometimes. She let down a chess piece, in the darkness the Black Knight was summoned and he stood, without even a moment hesitation he went to move Evals' plans into action. Use to the silence of the underground.

Where Kreos ran, soon more Undead would be chasing down upon him. He was half blind, with only one eye, and running through darkness without have any idea of where to go. If possible, the Undead, under the command of the zombie girl, would try and chase the Elf into a circular area that has been built in, to seem like some kind of underground building, it was simple but it had light at least. Torches lined the walls, and there were only two exits of it, the one not before Kreos would be blocked off. The Shadow Society was being used for meer games, oh what fun these games were though.

Kreos ran through the stifling darkness, toward an ever distant point of light. He heard slapping skeletal feet behind him, along with a feel of cold, and hate. He could sense undead, chasing him, and knew that if he turned, they would stab out his other eye. He continued to run, fearing the worst.

After what seemed like an age, he found a small passage, leading to a point of light. He ran and ran, untill he reached what he thought was his safe haven. A circular room, filled with torches. It had two exits, with torches surrounding. He grabbed one, and helding it like a sword, knowing his blade would be almost useless. For all he knew, these things liked fire, but, he had no other way to protect himself.

After the Elf had entered the room, everything seemed to stop in that area. For now, everything was an eerie quiet until very isolated movement could be heard in the silent tunnels. Hundreds of feet under the ruins, at most. Four or so figures appeared in the enterance. The Black Knight leading them, shield on back and sword at his side, she remained silent for now and moved into the room in a threatening manner. The three others were the two Skeletons and Evals.

She stood there with her eyes fixed upon the floor as if she was thinking about something. She was, what would Kreos think of this and what should she do to him? Destroy his existance, another Undead minion, someone alive to tell of the horrors of the ruins? If so, she wasn't going to let him go without any harm either way. For everything he did in retailiation she would have ten times that done in return. Upon her shoulder an over sized spider crawled up and perched on, seeming to stare at the Elf with eight unforgiving eyes.

The two Skeletons moved around the walls of the room and the one closer to Kreos had his eye rolling back and forth in his left empty eye socket. The thing would grin if it had any flesh at all, but a movement of the jaw was good enough. Making sure that nothing would happen here that would allow escape.

Kreos saw one of the skeletons give what he thought was a grin, watching his own eye swirling in its socket. He felt a red hot anger well up inside him, felt the muscles in his neck tighten, heard the tendons in his hands creak as he tightened his grip on the torch. He saw a dark tunnel form around the undead figure in front of him, he could only see the bleached white of its skull, its sickening smile.

He screamed in anger, deep and loud. He swung his torch toward the undead's white skull, with all his strength, anger fueling it further. At this time Bo sensed his master's anger, and ran toward the other skeleton's leg, trying to bight its leg, hopefully making fall to the ground. Bo's eyes had gone dark with anger, the anger of his master.

Evals didn't even glance up to see what was happening. Just at the moment that Shuett screamed, a very powerful pulsing aura of undeath and negative energy filled the entire room. Undead were empowered, even though it wasn't needed to give the skeletons enough power to not get hit at the attack. The skeleton swung at moved to the side a little and was ready to throw a very knuckly punch at the stomach of the Elf. The other Skeleton just went to kicked the dog in the head once it got close enough, they weren't weak beings as they were potrayed as. Bones were forty times as dense as concret and four times as hard as steel, as Evals had heard. Not completely sure if it was true or not, but it didn't matter.

In the swing to hit the Skeleton with the torch, the Black Knight extended his arm to try and grab the wrist of Kreos. "Elf, do you seek to be destroyed?" The heavy voice of the Knight sounded with malice highly intended.

The Undead girl stood there still, at the doorway. She had pulled the knife that Kreos had handed her to protect herself. Would she use it to injury him? Maybe so. The spider was still staring yet making some kind of highly unheard nose. Evals responded in a tongue that wasn't recognizable by Humaniod ears. Language of the spiders.

Kreos was knocked over with pain by the puch of the skeleton. He was flung back several feet. He was then grabbed hold of by the black knight, his heavy dark voice chilling Kreos' soul. Kreos did not speak, he merely stared at the girl in front of him, apparently speaking with the spider, or some invisible being from the Abyss. He tried to break free of its grip, but stopped after he saw Bo fly unconscious to the other side of the room. He cried out in anger, and in pain. Bo laid there, deep in sleep, unmoving as death. A death Kreos was sure he would meet.

"Hold still or you lose the arm." The Knight spoke again and his grip tightened with the act of his new spell, Draconic Might. Enough to the point of crushing the wrist in the now loose grip in the Knight's perspective, but a death grip to Kreos. The two Skeletons lined up to him and positioned their swords directly at the chest of Kreos and one touching his back. "Pass out or try to escape and you'll be run through." He finished and warned. Unmoved voice, uncaring, and ready to kill him. With a nod to the girl, Evals looked up.

She rubbed the knife between her fingers as she accidently cut herself. By then the illusion of life was fading from her. Skin turning pale and obviously dead seemed to crawl over her once alive flesh and it soon covered her body. She approached him but stayed at a distance and inspected him. What to do first, what to do first. She walked around and lunged out with his own knife to bite him in the ankle. Cutting deep into it before cutting it out to render anything there useless. First to see his reaction before continuing. She still said only two things, in that un understandable language. It didn't seem natural at all, not for someone of her shape.

OOC: Just noticed, wrong account. DX

Kreos looked the girl over again, her visage of life falling away. He did not speak, or move. He stood completely still, in a state of perfect numbness. He stared at the undead girl directly in her eyes. His eyes had gone cold, filled with hate. He felt fear wash away, to be replaced with an intense anger, flooding his whole body. He breathed in and felt the tip of a blade poke his sternum. He continued to breath, shallower, less deep. He felt his anger calm, and he stayed still, locking his eyes with the girl.

Kreos was silent. Evals calmly continued to cut out the heel. He wasn't resisting? Maybe he didn't feel like dying. After the heel was removed, she wiped her hand in the blood that was pooling on the floor. She was no vampire but Blood didn't disturb her. Sometimes missed it, having none of her own. She looked at both of her hands, now coated in the dripping grim red liquid. She left it there for now as she slide a small object out of her pocket.

Where the heel was, she roughly placed the small coin, the one that would cause constant rain to fall on him. It wouldn't start up yet, not yet. She placed it in so that the remaining flesh held it in place and then she started to wrap webs around it. Filling in the wound lightly, so that it would heal over the coin, and then covering the wound completely. Standing up, she walked over to his front, with a small frown that didn't seem very concerned for him in any way. She stared at his eye. Looked at her hands that were coated in his blood. He was nice enough to help her, if she was a living being. Drop the mute act now? No.

For now, she only showed him her hands which remained covered in her blood. She wanted to see how he would react, he didn't seem frightened anymore. No more, nevermore. What was he feeling?

Kreos flinched as he felt a hard metal object placed into his ankle. It was circular, a coin of some kind. He felt webs for around his ankle, keeping it intact, allowing it to heal. He watched as the girl rose, blood dripping from her hands. He knew it was his blood. He felt anger rise further into his brain, he tasted bile, felt his throat burn. He reared his head back and swung it forward, aiming for the girl's face.

If the blow connected he did not know, for he felt a sharp pain in his sternum and he felt a line of pain in his chest. He immediatly stopped moving and breathing. He did not want to die, but he did not want to be tortured. The only reason he wanted to live was to get Bo to safety. So he stayed still, staring at the girl, anger filling his eyes.

Smack! Evals stumbled back and fell to the floor, she had dropped the dagger and it fell across the floor. She looked up at him, empty eyes that would be filled with shock. Her hand went up to touch her head where she was struck. She wasn't hurt, but she still felt something, like a touch. Kreos' blood got on her cheek, forehead, and under her eye. She stayed there on the floor as the Black Knight tightened his grip once again.

With a quick pull, he went to rip the arm off of the Elf. Leave him with just one arm and a stub at the shoulder. "What did I tell you!?" He shouted as he moved away. With the grip gone, the Skeletons lowered their swords and went to hold him steady at his sides.

Kreos screamed in pain, an ear splitting cry that he held up for several moments, his vocal chords giving out eventually. He looked at his bleeding stub of an arm. It felt like it was still there, aching intensly. He clenched his teeth, grinding them against the pain. He felt his knees buckle and his vision darken. He would not pass out, he would stay awake. If he passed into the inky blackness they could do whatever they wanted to him. Of course they could do that now.

He breathed in and out through clenched teeth, eyes watering with pain. He groaned low and long, standing to his full height. He glared at the girl in front of him and spat at her. He felt hot tears of both blood from his missing eye and salty water from his eye that was clouded with pain. He continued to breath, somehow withstanding the pain. He continued to stare into the eyes of the girl. He ignored the pain by killing her with his eyes.

Now armless, Evals stood up and approached him, with a motion the Skeletons hit him in the back of the knees to bring him to them. Putting him at Evals height for now, she made sure the Skeleton had his arm held tight before she went to touch him above his webbed up eye. She ran her fingers over it, and across his cheek. Like he was just some object for her to own. She then went up to rip the webbing to reveal his eye, which had naturally forced itself shut with nothing there.

Looking at Kreos' blood that had spread to his forehead and cheek now, she continued to stare at him like he was nothing more than a child's toy to be thrown away when she was bored. "We should get rid of him soon." The Knight spoke as if he was in charge here, that was the act. To make it look like Emily was only another Undead to be controlled, like the Skeletons. Just... different from them. She only shot him a glance that stated she wasn't done yet.

Kreos' arm lied there on the floor, bleeding still. The spider that was on Evals' shoulder had moved from it's perch to somewhere hidden on her person or somewhere else. Hard to tell. She touched Kreos' lips and made a speaking motion with her's. She wanted him to speak, speak his mind. Hopefully he would get it and do so. She was just curious. Another Mortal, another death by the end of the week.

"What do you want from me?" he asked with a strong edge to his voice. He felt blood run down his left cheek, hot and red as wine. He shifted his weight into a more comfortable position. He looked up into the girl's eyes, "What the hell do you want from me?!" he screamed in a deep voice. "Do you want me to beg for my life, rip out my hair and beg for your mercy, beg to be your slave. No, that is low, low even for me." he stared into her eyes, awaiting a response. "Go on, talk. I know you can, speak!" at the last word his voice shook his chest, it held so much anger and hate. He doubled over in pain as he felt a huge wave of pain run through his arm and head. It felt like his arm was ripped off again and again. He saw blood drip into a large pool beneath him, from eye and arm. He felt the wave pass, and he returned his gaze to the girl in front of him. "Speak." he said that single word with such venom it would make a snake sick.

((OOC: sorry wrong account D:))
