Welcome to Imythess, the border between dreams and reality. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Imythess is a creative writing board where you narrate the story of a character in the medieval land of Imythess, on the planet Chaon. Each topic is an opportunity for your character to interact with the world and its peoples by cooperatively writing pieces of a story with other members, one post at a time. We call this role-playing, because you assume the identity of your character as if it were your own.

In order to play, you must register an account for each character you would like to write about, and begin their tale by filling out their basic profile information: Race (human, elf, demon, etc.), class (warrior, mage, etc.), physical appearance, and any other personal details you would like to describe. You are also encouraged to come up with some background history information for what your character's life has been like up to the point at which their story in Imythess begins.

There is no approval process or application required to join, so long as you follow the rules then you are free to write whatever character details you choose. Registration is simple, fast, and completely free.

Zion was a man that you did not want to get mad. he was always jumpy and fidgity, but he was fairly easy to piss off. The smalist sign of hate or anger in his way would send him off on a wild attacking spree. But two things that made him mad the most was food getting away and people who tired to kill him. And this was that moment, he was chashing a man because of both reasons. He had kept his little cat friend away from zion so he would not eat it, then tried to get him captured and posiable killed, but he handled that when he burnt the inn down in kellen.

But they were in the desert, and no help was here for this man, it would be a all out fight. he thought he would be smart and try to run, getting on a rather slow stupid horse. But zion had another plan. He hunched over onto all fours and began to run like a wild animal. his hands and feet pounded the sandy floor and his rage caused him to go off.

zion had kept up long enough to see the man fall off his animal and get up. He grabbed a staff and took a stance. He reared up on his legs and snarled, ready for a fight. It would be a rather open fight since there was no closed space, but he would work with it. Beating his chest he pouncd into the air and headed right for his defender.

Andrew could see the figure growing closer. He exhaled. He tossed Matt into a small nook in a nearby rock pile. He turned just in time to see the man beat his chest and leap into the air. Andrew kicked a wall of sand at the man. It might blind him, might choke him, or might do nothing. He sent his staff hurdling toward the man's skull, like a club. If the blow connected, it would hurt a lot, and most likely strike him unconscious. Andrew inhaled deeply, he could smell the man; dirt, sweat, woodsmoke and blood. Everything seemed to go in slow motion. Exhale.

For being such a retared and idiot, he was a genius in the field of battle. having the demon of war practically inside him gave him such a prespective in battle that it was almost supernatural. The great amount of sand that flew in his direction was nothing more than a screen to try and throw him off. He laughed at this attempt to survive. But zion was no fool, well he was but not in this case. Closing his eyes, he turned to make his body flat, going into the sand like a blade of wind. The particles bounched off his body and fell back to the ground, almost doing nothing to harm him.

But his opponent was not stupid either. He used the sand as a cover for his staff strike. As soon as zion opened his eyes he saw the wooden staff fly at his head. In a ditch effort to evade the attack he flipped back wards, the staff hit his leg sending him into the dirt. He would have to get past the staff if he wanted his prize. Pain shot into his knee but not enough to stop him from fighting. Instead of getting up he hunched onto all fours and ran at the man, his teeth bared for a fight. He ran then instantly hit the ground, rolling at the mans feet to try and trip him. This would throw him off and allow for a second strike.

Andrew saw the man jump down into the sand and roll toward his feet. He jumped back in fright with a cry. He stabbed the staff into the dirt to keep balance. He knew what do do. He picked up his staff and ran a few paces toward the man. He raised the staff above his head, gripping it with both hands. A few feet in front of the man he jumped high in the air. He brought the staff down. He felt as if he was inching through time again. Slow as slow can be. He saw the man below him. This blow was aimed directly at the ribs. With the weight of the man, and the momentum from the jump, this hit would at least break a few ribs. He did not notice until now that he was screaming an inhuman scream, deep and animal like. He could not here it though, he felt it in his chest, and felt his mouth open. All he could hear was his heart pounding, and the sound of wind rushing past your ears. He continued to bellow this lion like sound as he neared the man's body. He waited for contact.

this man was a lot better than he was let on. Zion had to stay alert and ready if he wanted to stay alive in this fight. So he just hopped around, dodging the mans blows with his staff and tried to stay close enough. But as the man slowed for a second he knew that a heavy blow was coming. So he activated his claws from his finger tips on his gloves. They shot out just as the staff came down on his rib cage. He sprang back just in time as the staff scrapped his back, so he lept forward and charged with his claws, as the staff was still down zion would be giving the chance to get within the periameter. allowing him the chance to attack close range and get away from that damn staff.

As the staff hit the earth, there seemed to be an explosion of sand, through the sand, charged the man, claws protruding from his hands. He raised his staff to block the man's left hand, but he felt a cold, stinging sensation in his left side as the claws delved deep into him. Andrew cried out in pain as the claws moved deeper into him, cold fingers plunging into his ribs. He roared in anger and aimed a kick at Zion's chest with his right leg. If the blow connected it would send the man back a foot or two, giving him the opportunity to use his staff again. Again, the world seemed to slow down, and much to Andrew's dismay, the pain seemed to last longer too.

blood rushed into his eyes as he rushed at th eman wiekding the satff. He noticed his arm go up to try and stop the attack, but he was not fast enough, for zions claws dove into the mans chest and cut out a small part of his skin. Blood flowed over the glove and onto the sand below them, causing red spots to show up. But zion was not able to block the counter attack. So his foot pounded into his bare chest, sending him flying back three feet on his bacm into the sand. the kick caused his hand to jolt ripping out more flesh from the mans side as it was pulled out from the kick. Zion layed on his back and groned, the pain was finally getting to him. He jumped up and ran at the man once more, now with both claws up to blcok the stupid staff. He would get closer now, close enough to kill the man.
